K 2022
The event of the year, which involves the entire plastic supply chain, will open its doors this autumn in Dusseldorf. The K 2022, the quintessential tradeshow dedicated to the plastic sector, focuses this year on circular economy, climate protection and digitalization.
We all know that new regulations and standards in line with the best practices are currently around the corner, as a result of this new policies aimed at preserving the environment by reducing CO2 emissions are enacted. Furthermore, a fringe of the plastic industy is also committed in developing bio-based products, recycling in polymers, Co2 reduction strategies.
It is therefore with great pleasure that IMI FABI announces its participation to the K 2022 by launching a new product for biobased/compostable polymers together with a wide offer intended to fulfil the stingiest requirements in lightweighting industry such as in automotive and other high end industrial applications. Also, IMI Fabi offers several solutions to polymer recycling industry to achieve more performing performance by talc modification.
NatFeel® is in fact a new talc based mineral additive, a perfect modifier for biopolymers, specifically engineered for compostable applications. NatFeel® can be used in all the compostable biopolymer applications where high mechanical performances together with stringent food contact regulations are requested. In addition, the company has developed products such as HVTextra, HVTultraC and NSultraC with forefront technologies, designed to reduce the environmental impact of CO2 emissions by reducing plastic components weight. In this area, a brand new product, NeoFill, will be presented for lightweight applications, to make the offer for high-end industrial applications even more attractive and performing. Moreover, IMI Fabi supports the circular economy through plastic recycling with its multiple light-grey and grey talc solutions to achieve a perfect cost-to-performance balancing.
