IMI FABI Acquires Talc Business from Elementis

Milan, Italy – [May 27th, 2025] – We are pleased to share that IMI FABI has successfully completed the acquisition of Elementis Talc, the industrial talc business of Elementis. The acquisition is effective immediately and marks a significant step in IMI FABI’s growth strategy and commitment to delivering high-quality mineral solutions worldwide.

As of today, all Elementis employees,  sites and  assets  have now transferred to IMI FABI. The business will continue to operate under its existing structure, ensuring uninterrupted service, supply, and support to customers. The Elementis brand will remain in use while integration activities progress.
