SPE Automotive - TPO Conference 2016

The SPE Automotive TPO Engineered Polyolefins Global Conference has been  held at the Troy Marriot in Troy, MI USA on October 02-05, 2016. Worldwide specialists have gathered for this event to highlight the most significant innovation on the use of rigid and elastomeric thermoplastic polyolefins (TPOs) in automotive and ground transportation.

Technical presentations have been displayed  on material development, compounds, new applications, surface enhancements, and processing advances pointing out industry trends.

The conference drawn around 850  industry decision makers from 4 continents and 20 countries, all focused on TPO’s application and technologies advancement.

IMI Fabi was glad to be part of this international forum to show its broad portfolio of talc grades intended to thermoplastic polymers applications like (i.e. automotive, engineering polymers, plastic recycling, white goods, antiblocking and nucleation).

In this charming location IMI Fabi  showcased product HTP1s, a novel talc additive for smart polymer processing.  In polymer modification, when high flow-ability and dust free behavior are requested for additives, the new talc additive HTP1s can be the answer. Wherever talc is considered as functional additive for polymers, the advantage of this novel product is that its bulk handling is visibly improved, with strong advantages for dosing,  and blending with other additives (i.e. in pre-mixes).

IMI Fabi took also the opportunity to inform the audience  that the new company website was launched on October 03,2016  recording positive feedbacks.
