Fakuma 2024

Great excitement  for the twenty-ninth edition of one  the most awaited event in the world of plastics. In the awesome scenery of Lake Constance, Fakuma 2024  is hosted   at the Exhibition Centre in Friedrichshafen  from October 15 to October 19.  This city allows visitors and exhibitors from all over the world to network on new technologies, business opportunites and trend of plastic sector.

 
Focused on digital transition and possible solutions for the future, a special consideration will be given to  recycling, circular economy, innovation and sustainable new business. 

The  circular economy is still the main message of the programme,  hightlighting  resource efficiency, sustainability, digitalization, reduced energy consumption, design engineering manufacturing, re-use,  repair and  reconditioning.  Futhermore, there will be a start-up area for creative ideas,  innovative solutions and general networking.

This year more than 1600 exhibitors, 35000 visitors are expected  to discover innovative know-how in plastics processing like injection moulding, 3D printing, extrusion, cut-off machineries, and innovative functional filler. Fakuma is particularly dealing with world-class plastic technologies, outstanding manufacturing and it is driven by innovation and sustainable design.

It is therefore with great pleasure  that IMI FABI announces its participation to Fakuma 2024  by launching new products  for biobased/compostable polymers together with a wide offer intended to fulfil the stingiest requirements in lightweighting industry such as in automotive and other high end industrial applications. Also, IMI Fabi offers several solutions to polymer recycling industry to achieve more performing performance by talc modification.

NatFeel® , our flagship product, is  in fact  a new talc based mineral additive, a perfect modifier for biopolymers, specifically engineered for compostable applications. NatFeel® can be used in all the compostable biopolymer applications where high mechanical performances together with stringent food contact regulations are requested.
