M.Seabrook's facilities nears to completion.
IMI Fabi is pleased to announce the successful completion of the refurbishment of its processing facility at Mount Seabrook talc mine in Western Australia, located 700 km North East of Geraldton. The brand-new processing plant, based on new sorting technologies, will enable the production of high brightness and high purity lamellar talc with a yearly capacity of over 100,000 tons.
The acquisition of Mount Seabrook mine started in 1996 when IMI Fabi acquired 50% of the Mount Seabrook mine. The second step occurred in 2011 when a new strategic milestone was reached thanks to the full acquisition of Mount Seabrook mine.
With a huge reserve of pure talc and this new “state of the art” processing facility, Mount Seabrook Operations, is considered a key asset.
Mount Seabrook Operations will be fully operational in June 2017 with worldwide shipments
