Sibelco Uikhoven Acquisition

Sibelco and IMI Fabi S.p.A. are pleased to announce the agreement on the sale of Sibelco’s talc operations located in Uikhoven, Belgium.

Starting from March 14, 2017, Sibelco Uikhoven business unit has been therefore transferred to IMI Fabi, a worldwide leading mining and minerals company, specializing in the production of talc.

IMI Fabi currently supplies high quality talc products globally, providing a wide range of items suitable for different industrial applications. IMI Fabi is a reliable, long-term business partner thanks to its development of unique assets and targeted investments aimed at preserving strategic resources

The entire transaction is consistent with Sibelco’s sharpening focus on its core business and optimally fits with IMI Fabi’s portfolio.
